She didn't have the courage to stand up to them and eventually the guilt became to much for her. She commited suicide.
She was abused as a child
And felt like she didn't know anything anymore
For every second that past, her heart grew sore
The pain she felt came from deep within
Poor little girl, let her abusers win
All the terror and screams
Are what invaded her dreams
She felt the hurt and anger everyday
And the guilt because her abusers got away
She thought about what she could do with her life
But she sat and stared for hours admiring that shiny knife
Wondering should she just end it all
Then she thought about her family
Who'd have to make that devastating call
The call to say their loved one is dead
They found her bleeding alone in bed
No longer could she stand the pain
It was tearing her up, making her go insane
So she wrote a note to say
That she couldn't keep living her life this way
When she looked in the mirror, it made her feel sick
In her ear all she heard was tick, tick, tick
Time is running out she said
I don't deserve to be here
I should be dead
So she took the knife to her neck and sliced straight through
Her final note simple said 'I Love You'
She was deeply sorry for what she had done
But in her mind, the abusers had already won
Now she is happy and in a better place
She can now look in the mirror with a smile on her face
Now she longer feels any pain
She is smiling now as she can finally see
That she's no longer trapped and her soul has been set free...
